ADVANCED TV/VIDEO PRODUCTION (A86503, A86504, A86603, A86604) 2 credits, Full Year
Students will get hands on experience in all aspects of video production, including screenwriting, pre-production, casting, acting, cinematography, audio engineering, lighting, set design, editing, digital effects, and distribution. The class will include professional guest speakers, field trips to local production companies and studios, and location shoots outside of school. Each student will finish the class with a substantial portfolio including documentaries, commercials, music videos, and short films.
In order to give students the time and opportunity to take on more ambitious projects, this course is two periods a day. Students will receive credit for both Television Broadcasting II (A86503, A86504) and Video Production II (A86603, A86604)
