Building Construction courses prepare students for entry into Construction Management programs, journeyman training programs, and employment in home and commercial construction. Each year the Building Construction program will build and sell a new house in the community. Students will become familiar with all aspects of construction including, cement work, framing, roofing, plumbing, electrical, and finish carpentry. This course can be taken either A day, B day, or both and is taught 3rd and 4th periods. Your high school counselor can give you more information about the options available for the building construction classes.
