A+ COMPUTER REPAIR & MAINTENANCE | high school course - full year

SUGGESTED GRADES: 10-12

Students will learn necessary competencies for an entry-level IT professional including installing, building, upgrading, repairing, configuring, troubleshooting, optimizing, diagnosing and performing preventive maintenance of basic personal computer hardware and operating systems. Capable students can also earn Industry Certification A+.

Security Fundamentals | high school course - SEMESTER

SUGGESTED GRADES: 11-12

This course will measure your ability  to implement processes, to protect an organization's assets against danger, damage, loss and criminal activity. This course will help you answer the following questions; What challenges does a security professional face?  What is the difference between integrity and non-repudiation? What are the three main goals of the CIA of Security? What are the key components of risk management?

NETWORK+ FUNDAMENTALS | HIGH SCHOOL COURSE - SEMESTER

SUGGESTED GRADES: 11-12

This course is based on CompTIA Network+ objectives and covers a wide range of vendor and product neutral networking technologies. Capable students can earn the CompTIA Network+ certification, which is an internationally-recognized credential, showing candidates possess the essential knowledge and skills needed to confidently design, configure, manage and troubleshoot any wired and wireless networks.
