Woods i | high school course -  FULL YEAR

SUGGESTED GRADES: 10-12

The 1st in a sequence of courses that prepares individuals to apply technical knowledge and skills to lay-out, shape, assemble, and finish projects.  Value is placed on developing craftsmanship, a production sense and in design principles. This course emphasizes the safe use of a variety of hand tools, power tools and machinery.  This class will allow students to create a project with the use of traditional equipment and CNC’s.  

WOODS ii (Cnc manufacturing/design) | HIGH SCHOOL COURSE -  FULL YEAR

SUGGESTED GRADES: 11-12

The 2nd in a sequence of courses that prepares individuals to apply technical knowledge and skills to lay-out, shape, assemble, and finish projects.  Value is placed on developing craftsmanship, a production sense and in design principles. This course emphasizes the development of production principles in a manufacturing environment.  This course will heavily involve CNC processing and manufacturing process related to manufacturing.

WOODS iii (caw 140r) | uvu concurrent enrollment - full year: 4 credits

SUGGESTED GRADES: 11-12

The 3rd in a sequence of courses that prepares individuals to apply technical knowledge and skills to lay-out, shape, assemble, and finish projects.  Value is placed on developing craftsmanship, a production sense and in design principles. This course emphasizes the development of traditional design principles.  This class will allow students to create a larger student designed project with the use of traditional equipment and CNC’s.
