SUU’s Aviation Program landed a helicopter on the West side of the Advanced Learning Center this morning. They’ll be there from 9:30-11:50. They are coming to talk about their fixed-wing and helicopter flight school, their aviation mechanic program (there’s a huge shortage right now), and will be bringing their CE coordinator to answer any SUU-related questions for students that are planning on attending any of SUU’s programs. All of your students are more than welcome to attend at any point in that window.
We all know that it takes many people to run a school, and some of those people are the secretaries or the correct term, the Administrative Professionals.
We would like to take time out to thank three of those people who help make our school what it is today.
At most schools, the secretary is a key player in communicating with parents and community members about what's happening at school.
Nebo is partnering with Tabitha’s Way for a new event called Read & Feed.
The purpose of this event is to encourage children to continue to read during the summer and to educate families facing food insecurity regarding food resources available to them and their children while they are not attending school. Our goal is to gather 10,000 gently used books that children can take home with them and keep to read during the summer.
