PIG EYE DISSECTION

Submitted by shelley.heaton on

Ms. Hartvigsen always has something interesting going on. She did not disappoint this week.

The Advanced Health Science class had quite the experience last week dissecting pig eyes.  The students did a great job with their dissections, and they learned so much.

Thank you, Ms. Hartvigsen, for this hands-on experience you provided. and Thank you to Mr. Blake for coming to help her with this lab.

ALC WELCOMES PHS STUDENTS

Submitted by shelley.heaton on

We love it when schools bring their students over to the ALC to learn about our Programs. It is always fun to see new students and always fun to talk about all of the opportunities the ALC has to offer.

The ALC welcomed PHS students.  They were given tours and had the time to ask and have questions answered.

Nebo high schools are beginning the registration process now. Students that are interested in attending for the fall of 2021 can talk to their high school counselors.

Thank you Mr. Blake for arranging for the students to come to tour our school.

HAPPY COUNSELOR'S WEEK- NATALIE GRANT

Submitted by shelley.heaton on

SHOUT TO OUR ALC COUNSELOR- NATALIE GRANT

We are so happy to have this week to celebrate and honor the Counselor here at the ALC, Natalie Grant.

Ms. Grant is a long time ALC face. She was the Health Science teacher for many years and then became our Counselor a couple of years ago.  This gives her quite the advantage, as she knows things from the student's point of view as well as from a teacher's point of view.

Her love for her students and her love for the faculty show with the many students and teachers that come to her for her advice and counsel.
