ALC Concurrent Enrollment Admissions/Registration

ALC Concurrent Enrollment Admissions/Registration is Open!

If you have a student taking Concurrent Enrollment this upcoming year, here is some important information that they need to know.  

If you are a student that will be attending the ALC this year and plan on taking Concurrent Enrollment courses with UVU, it is time to get admitted.  We would like you to get admitted to UVU before August 17th, in order to be ready to get registered by the first week of school.  If you have already taken courses at UVU and/or have a UVU ID number you may get registered.

This link will take you to the Concurrent Enrollment website, please follow the steps outlined there.
Step 1 = Admission:  There is a one-time admissions fee of $35 which is required at time of application.  You will also need to have your student’s social security number, driver’s license number and birthdate to complete the application for admission. The application usually takes at least 48 hours to be accepted for admissions.  When you have received your admittance to UVU and your UVU ID number, you will be ready to register for concurrent enrollment courses.
Step 2 = Registration:  Follow the steps after you click on the registration process.  Students will be given CRN’s and assistance for the first week of school for registration.
Step 3 = Payment:  Pay for the courses you are taking, they will be $5 a credit hour.  
Example:  If you are taking a 3 credit Concurrent Enrollment course, it will be $15

If you need assistance with any aspect of the admission/registration process, the ALC will be assisting parents and students on Monday, August 12 from 10:00-11: 30 a.m. and Thursday, August 15 from 5-6pm.  No appointment is necessary.
