CAPS STUDENTS WOW SALEM CITY

Submitted by shelley.heaton on

It was an exciting day for ALC students Cedar Gasser and Caleb Fausett. The ALC CAPS Digital Media program, under the direction of Preston Powell (CAPS Instructor), had the privilege of designing a new logo for Salem City. The CAPS students have worked on this project for several months and they were very excited to submit the final designs to Mayor Christensen, the city council and the city employees for approval.

The design pictured was the final selection.

Congratulations to the ALC CAPS Digital Media.

The ALC CAPS program would like to thank Salem City for this opportunity. Multiple students were involved and they were able to experience a real-world challenge. Special appreciation to Sydney Ward and Tucker Pederson (and all those that participated) for their presentations to the Salem City Council meetings.

Way to go CAPS students, we are very proud of your efforts!

(CAPS stands for Center for Advanced Professional Studies)
