Utah Career and Technical Education (CTE) Scholarships and Tuition Awards

 Who is eligible to earn a scholarship?

  Students seeking a one-year certificate, or a two-year associate or technical degree. OR  Students seeking to be a teacher in a CTE area (four-year program).

What schools offer a scholarship? Any how many scholarships are available?

Southern Utah University (SUU) 1  

Utah State Univeristy—Moab 1

Utah State University Eastern—Price (USU Eastern) 2

 Utah State University Eastern—Blanding (USU Eastern) 2

 Utah Valley University (UVU) 20

 Weber State University (WSU) 7

 Bridgerland Applied Technology College (BATC) 8

 Davis Applied Technology College (DATC) 10 > Dixie Applied Technology College (DXATC) 2

Mountainland Applied Technology College (MATC) 15

Ogden-Weber Applied Technology College (OWATC) 12

Southwest Applied Technology College (SWATC) 3

Tooele Applied Technology College (TATC) 4

Uintah Basin Applied Technology College (UBATC) 2

Note: Some institutions offer less than full tuition.

Log on to http://schools.utah.gov/CTE/main/Scholarships.aspx for the scholarship application and for institution information.

Last year, 215 high school seniors applied for a Utah CTE Scholarship and Tuition Award, with
106 of the applicants receiving a college scholarship.   Nebo students received 7 of these scholarships.
