HAPPY SECRETARIES DAY

With it being National Administration Support Day (Secretaries Day), We wanted to take a moment to say thank you and highlight our Secretaries at the ALC.

The ALC wouldn't be the ALC without Miranda Hjorth at the helm of our Front office. Miranda is the gatekeeper of all things ALC. She is the front office secretary, the finance and counseling secretary, the Field House scheduler and facilitator, the teacher's personal secretary, and the student's best confidant. Miranda is always ready to help wherever and whenever she is needed.

Her smile is always apparent and her laugh is very infectious. The teachers and faculty all love to come up front to visit Miranda because she always has an encouraging word and a smile to make hard days bearable.

 THANK YOU MIRANDA FOR ALL YOU DO ! We love you.

 We would be lost without you!

Marcie Ford is the Nebo Online Registrar and I know that Anna Palmer would be completely lost without Marcie and all she does to keep the Online program going. Marcie stays very busy trying to coordinate the student's online schedules, track their progress and, keep all of the teachers and students supported with the things they need to succeed.

Marcie has the best stories and her laugh is so fun to hear. She is always worried about her fellow employees and the students she has charge over. Marcie has been with the ALC from the very start and we are so lucky she is part of our ALC team.

Shelley Heaton is the Attendance Secretary and also Registrar.  Shelley likes to decorate everything and anything is always finding some reason to celebrate something so she can plan and decorate for that too.

She loves being in the front office and loves when the students come in to show the office their newest accomplishments.

She loves working with Miranda and Marcie and has learned so much from them both. Shelley loves working with the faculty and staff and feels like they are all family.

She says the ALC is the best place to work and wouldn't trade her job for anything. She loves all the students and misses them during this COVID-19 time.
