HEALTH SCIENCE CLASSES TOUR WEBER STATE UNIVERSITY

Submitted by shelley.heaton on

Every year at this time, Ms. Grant's health science classes get the opportunity to travel up to Weber State University and tour the Weber Health Science Department.

It is always such an informational, hands-on tour. The students walk away with such a great understanding and knowledge of what Health Sciences has to offer them in the future.

The students were able to work with the virtual reality table and see virtually what it is like to do surgery on a person. They were also introduced to the Nursing simulation lab where they were taught how to intubate an adult and a baby in order to prep them for surgery.  They were also able to see many anatomy parts that had been preserved for the study of tissue and organs.

The staff and teachers of the Health Science classes are always so gracious and kind to the students. It is such a great learning experience each time.

Thank you to Weber State University and to Ms. Grant for arranging this awesome opportunity for the students.
