Hydraulic Robotic Arms

Students in the pre-engineering class built hydraulic robotic arms during the mechanical engineering unit. Students were given a basic template for the base and then, as a team, they designed the arm and the claw. Hydraulic systems (syringes filled with water) were the sole system used to move and rotate the arms. Once the arms were completed, the students participated in a ball retrieval game with their arms.
