This school year we were lucky to have three new faces on our faculty. One of these bright smiling faces is Marjorie Ralph. She is our Communications teacher. This is the first time we have offered these classes here at the ALC and couldn't have asked for a better teacher to be teaching them.

Marjorie is teaching the first half of the day at Payson High School and then comes to the ALC to finish up the day.

Marjie Ralph (a.k.a. Ralph) has been teaching for 15 years at Payson High School and seven years for Utah Valley University.  She teaches a variety of courses in both the English and Communications Departments.  She has degrees from U.V.U., B.Y.U. and S.U.U.

Quoting Ms. Ralph she said: "I love classrooms and I love to both learn and teach.  My husband Tim Platzek is a special education teacher.  I have two perfect children Alexandria Jo (4) and Atticus Connor (2).  My kids are my world and we spend a lot of time at the Zoo, Thanksgiving Point, and the recreation center.  I love to mow my lawn, lawn maintenance is my favorite form of recreation.  My personal passions and profession passions go hand in hand as I love to read, watch media, write and hang out with cool people.  I have 6 nieces and 5 nephews and Aunt Marj is one of my favorite names.  I am super excited about my new adventure at the Advance Learning Center. I am excited to learn from and with my students and faculty members this year. "

WELCOME TO THE ALC TEAM!

!WE ARE EXCITED TO HAVE YOU MARJIE!
