1st DAY OF SCHOOL A SUCCESS

Submitted by shelley.heaton on

There is nothing like the first day of school.

There is no better sight than to see the students getting off the busses and walking through the doors ready to learn.

The first day brings a lot of different emotions as well. The anxiousness mixed with excitement,  the fun wearing your new school clothes, and the happiness at seeing familiar faces that you haven't see all summer.

It is always so fun to be in the halls, greeting and helping students find their classes.

There were some fun "getting to know you" activities in the classrooms, and there were a lot of smiles on faces as they left our school today to go home.

Happy First Day of School ALC students. It was a great day.

IT'S GOING TO BE A GREAT YEAR!

Seth Christmas from our ALC Collision classes took first place at SkillsUSA Nationals in Georgia on Saturday, June 25, 2022.  Seth competed in the Collision and Repair Technology Division using the skills he learned in his advanced collision courses with Chet Harmer at the ALC and his welding classes at MMHS from Jared Massic. ALC CAPS presence at CAPS Summer Huddle

Submitted by shelley.heaton on

CAPS now has over 80 affiliates in 4 countries! #NeboCAPS is thrilled to be able to stand side by side with these amazing educators who are working to transform learning in and out of the classroom.

CAPS Summer Huddle 2022, St Louis, is a great success so far for Mrs. Hair and Mrs. Hansen. From meeting Erik Lindbergh, grandson of Charles Lindbergh, to new friends from Kuwait and around the globe, we are learning how to bring community into the classroom and profession-based learning to our next group of NeboCAPS students this fall.
