     Let the fun begin!                         Summer Offerings June - July 2018

Students that choose to participate must have some experience in each of the related fields.  

       June 4-7 M-Th Session 1 options

Animation Workshop 9am-12 noon: Each student will create at    least one animated film from start to finish. We will learn stop motion animation with legos and 2D computer animation with characters drawn by the students. Write your own script, record voices, add sound effects and music and finish with a completed animated film.


Music Recording Workshop 1pm-4pm: Bring your instruments and voices and learn how to record a song from start to finish. We'll cover the basics of microphones, song arrangement, editing and effects.


Students may sign up for both a.m. and p.m. sessions, OR, Animation students may stay in the afternoon and continue working.  Music students may come in the morning and work.


Graphic Design Workshop  June 12- July 5 Session 2

Tue. & Thurs. 9am-12 Noon - June 12, 14, 19, 21, 26, 28, July 3, & 5

Students will use Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator to create graphics for digital media projects. Students will select a topic and work with the client to design and create a final project.  Students will have the experience of engaging with a professional from the Utah State Office of Education. Student work will be showcased across the state in all high schools. Students will be able to add their completed project to their portfolio and if eligible they may request to receive a letter of satisfaction from the client for future employment/resumes and/or scholarships.
