Army SGT Haddle visited the Private Pilot class to talk about aviation opportunities in the Army Reserve and Active Duty Army, as well as his own Private Pilot experience. He recently finished his Private Pilot training in Provo and explained how his checkride went. The students asked questions and received valuable, current information on the process.

SGT Haddle and his Army Stem Bus crew are out of Fort Knox Kentucky and they travel all over the US to showcase what the army has to offer. The Army STEM Bus visiting the ALC has 6 different simulators. These simulations are used to give a little bit of insight into what the army does. ALC students were also able to experience VR training in the STEM bus on a variety of topics such as welding, 3-D topography, and how it might feel driving impaired.

The stem bus loves coming to schools or businesses giving students and individuals opportunities to get an inside look into the Army. They especially love to visit high schools, college campuses, and in the summer you can find them at county fairs, and airshows. We truly appreciate the Army's visit to the ALC and their service, hard work, and dedication.
