Nebo Superintendent and students

The Advanced Learning Center was delighted to welcome Rick Nielsen, the Nebo School District Superintendent, this week.  Mr. Nielsen toured the ALC's high-tech and modern facilities, including our new Auto Collision, Auto Repair, and Woods shops.  Mr. Nielsen is a strong supporter of career and technical education (CTE) and concurrent enrollment (CE) opportunities in a high school setting.

During his visit, Mr. Nielsen was able to visit classrooms, interact with students and teachers, and witness project-based learning on a wide scale.  He even joined in on the fun and signed our CAPS wall.  Mr. Nielsen was truly impressed with everything going on at the ALC.

Thanks for all your support Superintendent Nielsen!
