1st Place at the Utah State IT Challenge

Jadon Clegg, an IT student at ALC, earned 1st place in the 2015 Utah State IT Challenge. Mr. Clegg received the TestOut PC Pro certification. Then he was entered into the state competition where he earned 1st place with a perfect score. Others receiving state awards include Chad Stillson and Broden Abbott who shared 6th place.

Computer Repair and Maintenance

Congratulations to the following I.T. students who passed the Testout Computer Repair and Maintenance Certification test.  This is a Nationally recognized certification that shows a student is prepared to work in an I.T. career in such roles as Computer Tech.

Choremaster Challenge

In this activity, engineering student teams thought of a common household chore, then created a gadget--using only the supplied materials--to make that chore easier to perform.  After the allotted time, teams presented a performance of the chosen chore to the rest of the class. Check out the pictures to see what the young engineers came up with.
