FIRST WEEK WAS A GREAT ONE

Submitted by shelley.heaton on

What a great first week of school here at the ALC.

There was so much going on it was hard to capture it all on film.

Thanks to the faculty and staff for the amazing job they did to ensure that the students felt welcome and excited to be part of this great school.

From the looks of these past few days, it's going to be a great school year!

To quote one student in the hall, " This is such an amazing place to be, I'm so glad I came here."

We love hearing things like this.

1st DAY OF SCHOOL A SUCCESS

Submitted by shelley.heaton on

There is nothing like the first day of school.

There is no better sight than to see the students getting off the busses and walking through the doors ready to learn.

The first day brings a lot of different emotions as well. The anxiousness mixed with excitement,  the fun wearing your new school clothes, and the happiness at seeing familiar faces that you haven't see all summer.

It is always so fun to be in the halls, greeting and helping students find their classes.

There were some fun "getting to know you" activities in the classrooms, and there were a lot of smiles on faces as they left our school today to go home.

Happy First Day of School ALC students. It was a great day.

IT'S GOING TO BE A GREAT YEAR!
