Social Media Contest Winners

Congratulations to Max Floyd and Mayzie Greenman for winning the Stukent Mimic Social social media simulation in Mrs. Ewell's class. These students went above and beyond in creating engaging (and converting) content and were each awarded a $50 Amazon Gift card for their efforts.

Stukent is an online social media marketing simulation which allows students to develop targeted social media advertisements for a fictional company, Buhi Bags. All aspects of an advertisement are a factor, such as captions, images, and time. Additionally, students are able to target their ads to a specific demographic by targeting genders, age ranges, and interests. Students also worked around an advertising budget when scheduling content across six major social media platforms.

The Mimic Social simulation is used in Mrs. Ewell's Social Media Marketing class.  This class is designed to give students a background in digital marketing and an introduction to the rapidly growing and evolving career field.  Students are exposed to the fundamental concepts and principles of the digital experience, focusing on the learning tools and skills necessary for solving business problems, and developing marketing opportunities. 

This course provides practical experience in eCommerce, media planning, branding, online advertising, digital campaigns, social media business simulations, and mobile media.
