Last night, on 15 May 2023, the ALC’s  first inaugural Pin On and Naming Ceremony took place.  Pin On Ceremonies celebrate the hard work the ALC's Private Pilot class students put in and allow them to share that with family and friends. Naming ceremonies allow friends in the same pilot class to build camaraderie and help each other get through hard times with humor.

The ALC Principal Mr. Bart Peery advised the students to keep looking forward in their career pursuits, and Ms. Tammy Olsen, ALC Aviation Teacher, reminded the students to keep learning and practicing throughout their careers. The best pilots keep learning even after they have accomplished their goal flying for their preferred airline.

Family members and friends pinned the wings onto each student after they were awarded their wings. Our 2 student Master of Ceremonies then told the crowd about the call sign that was given to the student by their classmates. Over 100 people attended the ceremony.

A huge "Thank You" to Ms. Olsen for planning such an awesome event for her students. This night is one they will remember for a while.
