Students of the month for April

We would like to introduce you to our April ALC Students of the Month. These are amazing students.  Congratulations.

Nominated by Mr. Blake Nielsen- - Woods

Tanner McNeil:
I selected Tanner not only because he is taking multiple classes from me, but he also has demonstrated a willingness and drive to learn as much as possible. Every class Tanner is asking me why and how I do things. He is always trying to soak up as much as he can and learn. Tanner always has a positive attitude and does anything asked of him.

Emma Weinberg:
I selected Emma because of her willingness to try and learn new things. She always says “ I have never done this before, but show me how I would like to do it and learn”. She always comes to class with a positive attitude and smile everyday. It has been a good experience to get to know Emma and her personality throughout the year.

Nominated by  Mr. Harmer- Collison Repair:

Andrew Norris:  Andrew has taken auto collision repair for the last 3 years and has excelled in all aspects of this class. He has painted two different vehicles over the last 3 years. that are easy to spot on the road. His first paint job was a bright orange Chevy tracker. His second project was an Astro van that he is converting to a camping van. He painted it army green with custom built bumpers and a roof rack he built himself. During his senior year he was able to represent the ALC in SkillUSA where he placed 1st. This June he will have the opportunity to represent the state of Utah in Atlanta, Georgia for Collision Repair at the National SkillsUSA contest.

Ryan Pulley:
Ryan Pulley- Ryan is a senior who just finished his first complete project in my class. We share an interest in off-roading and were able to paint his jeep Cherokee. During this project Ryan was able to find a higher level of work than I have seen from him. His attention to detail and dedication to this project were impressive and something that deserves notice.

Nominated by Mr. Adams- Auto Repair

Dylan HardingDylan is the class clown, he always keeps the classroom full of joy and humor. He knows how to put a smile on anyone's face at any time. Dylan is a great example of how a true friend should be. He is always willing to help anyone that could use an extra hand. He also is a great listener and hard worker.

Kovin Taylor: Kovin is a very hard worker and always anxious to get a project done, he is kind to all his classmates and is very helpful and shows great leadership responsibilities by always willing to participate and even initiates cleaning.

"CONGRATULATIONS" to these students. Way to go!
