We're thrilled to announce that our two Intermediate Drone classes had the fantastic opportunity to take a field trip to Zipline. This company is at the forefront of technology, using drones for package delivery in Utah in partnership with Intermountain Healthcare. They deliver prescriptions right to a person's backyard!
Our students were given a firsthand experience of the process of launching and recovering the drones, also known as 'zips'. They also learned about the precautions and measures taken to ensure these drones do not interfere with other aircraft. This was a wonderful opportunity for our students to see how the theoretical knowledge they gain in the classroom can be applied in the real world. The excitement on their faces was priceless!
At the Advanced Learning Center, we strive to provide our students with hands-on learning experiences that go beyond the traditional classroom setting. We believe this exposure to real-world applications of their studies is essential for their growth and understanding of the subjects they are passionate about.
