Ms. Alyssa Larsen is our newest Dean of Students. She joins us after 15 years teaching Severe Special Education at SFHS, and one year as a District Level Specialist for the Special Education district team.
Ms. Larsen received her Bachelor’s Degree from Southern Virginia University in Physical Education and Health. She then pursued her Masters Degree in Special Education. In 2017 she completed her certificate of completion in Educational Administration from Southern Utah University. She is currently completing her Doctorate Degree in Special Education curriculum and assessment from Liberty University.
Alyssa is the mother of two 12 year old twins, Ace and Brooklyn. In her extra time she is seen at their numerous events from football, basketball and baseball, to dance competitions and she couldn’t imagine her life in any better way!
Alyssa believes “they won’t care how much you know, until they know how much you care.” It’s all about the kids and relationships we experience to create such an amazing opportunity.
