Shark Tank for students! This start-up innovation class will help students gain an understanding of the marketing and management principles necessary to start and operate their own business. With a huge focus on creativity and a competitive classroom economy, students will develop an awareness of the opportunities for small business ownership and develop the planning skills needed to open a small business. Students will become aware of the traits and characteristics of successful entrepreneurs and their role in the economy.

Business Law is a fun and fast-paced class where students will learn how the law relates to them currently and the implications of the law in their future lives as well as the lives of their family & friends. The course includes topics such as the foundations of the law, court systems, criminal law, tort law & contract law. Students will learn their rights and responsibilities as citizens and the regulations governing different types of business organizations. As a culminating project, students will participate in a student-led mock trial.
