Engineering Pine Wood Derby Fun

Over the past few weeks, our students have been deeply engaged in designing and creating their own 3-D pine wood derby models. This hands-on project was not only a fun and engaging activity for our students, but also an opportunity for them to apply and test their knowledge of engineering principles, particularly aerodynamics.

The variety and creativity of the car designs were a true testament to the ingenuity of our students. Each student had the chance to experiment, through trial and error, to find the perfect combination of elements to create a speedy and efficient derby car. They all showed such resilience and determination in tweaking their designs to get the best performance possible.

We would like to extend a special thank you to Mr. Barlow for his continuous efforts in providing such enriching and practical experiences for his students. His dedication and passion are truly inspiring!

Celebrations and Acknowledgments

We are thrilled to celebrate the success of the Pine Wood Derby project. The students' hard work and creativity really shone through in their final designs. Well done to everyone!

Remember, every step in the learning journey is important. The skills our students have developed during this project are not only valuable for their academic growth but also for their personal development.
