On Wednesday, 13 March 2024, we had a special guest, Kennedy Murphy, who traveled all the way from Arkansas to speak to our Drone (UAS) class about the Zipline drone company. Kennedy works with Zipline, a company renowned for their innovative drone technology that's making a real impact around the world.

She offered our students a deep dive into the workings of Zipline, explaining how their drones operate and the vital roles they play in delivering critical supplies to remote areas around the globe. The session was incredibly informative and exciting, and our students were thrilled to learn about the practical applications of the drone technology they're studying.

The best part? This presentation was just a prelude to our much-anticipated field trip! In just a few weeks, our ( UAS) class will be visiting the Zipline Drone Nest in South Jordan. There, they will get a first-hand look at the operation of these advanced drones. This is an incredible opportunity for our students to see the real-world application of what they are learning in class.

We're extremely grateful to Kennedy for taking the time to share her knowledge and inspire our students. Her presentation has unquestionably sparked even more enthusiasm in our class for the upcoming field trip.

Stay tuned for more updates after our field trip. We can't wait to share our experiences with you!
