Labor Day

For many Americans, Labor Day means the end of summer and beginning of the school year. But the holiday really celebrates the social and economic achievements of American workers. Labor Day is a federal holiday in the United States celebrated on the first Monday in September to honor and recognize the American labor movement and the works and contributions of laborers to the development and achievements of the United States. The three-day weekend it falls on is called Labor Day Weekend. We celebrate workers on Labor Day, but the labor movement allows us to experience benefits and rights every day. Enjoy Labor Day and please stay safe and enjoy your time with family, friends, and loved ones!
