AVIATION GETS DOWN TO THE NUTS AND BOLTS OF THINGS

Submitted by shelley.heaton on

To understand how something works, sometimes you just have to go all the way back to the basics.

In Mr. Halls Avaition class, that is exactly what they did. In order to understand the airplanes they will someday be flying, They needed to understand all the pieces to the airplane and how they work.

For the past few days the students have been learning about engines, and even had to build an engine starting from the first little nut and bolt ending with the finished product.

The students had a fun hands-on learning experience figuring out exactly how an engine works.

Mr. Halls is amazing at giving these students engaging activities to improve their learning. Thank you.

WELCOME OCTOBER

Submitted by shelley.heaton on

'I'm so glad I live in a world where there are Octobers'  This is my favorite time of the year.

Glad October  (Tune: America The Beautiful)

Oh, beautiful the autumn time!

October days are here;

The trees in royal garments clad

Join in our songs of cheer.

The earth is holding festival

In colors bright and gay;

The world is like a picture fair

This glad October day.

Chorus—-

Oh, autumn time, we welcome you

with songs of joyous cheer,

Remembering your colors bright

Throughout the whole glad year.

Oh, brightly now the fires gleam

Upon the hearth at night;

And gladly now we linger long
