APPLIED AND READY TO GO!

Submitted by shelley.heaton on

This past week Ms. Grant has gone into the senior English classes and helped them understand how to apply for colleges along with a folder full of information for each student.

She was there to give them the knowledge and keys to get themselves ready to apply for colleges. Each one of the seniors had the opportunity to apply for one or more colleges of their choice.

Once they had applied, they filled out a paper and it was placed on the " I applied" wall.  It is always so fun to see the wall filled.

Thanks to Ms. Grant for her efforts for UCAW Week. It was a great week.

UCAW DOOR DECORATING FUN

Submitted by shelley.heaton on

In conjunction with UCAW week the ALC had a door decorating contest. It was so fun to see the creativity come out.

Loved to see the student involvement with some of the doors.

Such a fun way to highlight applying for colleges.

UCAW WEEK IN FULL SWING

Submitted by shelley.heaton on

UCAW off to a great start  at the ALC. Ms. Grant has been preparing and working hard to make sure everything runs smooth.

UCAW week is, and has been, very beneficial to the students.

The goal of Utah College Application and Financial Aid Awareness Month is to provide every high school senior at our partner schools the opportunity to complete at least one college or university application during the school day and to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid during a coordinated FAFSA Night event with access to parents.
