On Friday, Anna Palmer received the 2020 Crystal Apple Award.

She was highlighted by Jaime Christensen and presented the award by Craig Harvey, from the Horace Mann group.

Anna began her teaching career in 1996 with the Provo School District. She taught English for three years at the Slate Canyon Detention Center.

When her three boys were all in school in 2012, She started with the Nebo School District working as a technician at the Advanced Learning Center. In 2015, someone thought she should run the secondary Nebo Online Programs. Together with her team of four ladies, they run four online academic programs: Utah Students Connect, SEATS, My Tech High, and Remote Learning. The latter was created just this summer.

Anna said that the highlight of her job is helping students succeed in their online courses and working with so many incredible people at ALC, throughout the district, and all over the state.

CONGRATULATIONS ANNA.

So Glad you are part of our ALC team.
