Ronda Hair is over our " ACE" Program here at the ALC. It stands for Architecture, Construction, Engineering.
The students in the program had to apply for this program and many were recommended by their teachers as a great possibility to be in the program. These students meet twice a week and get instruction, have guest speakers, and also do fun experiments regarding these fields.
One of these fun experiments was our ACE club students worked with cantilevers, center of mass, and pylons today by building with nickels!
Next week they're off on a field trip to the sea container shopping plaza in Springville for a construction tour to gather ideas for their current sea container project.
