Submitted by alan.ashton on

To gain refined skills and expertise and to increase pay, many IT professionals choose to pursue a certification.

Based on the findings of the 2015 IT Skills and Salary Survey conducted by Global Knowledge and Windows IT Pro in the fall of 2014, I've compiled a list of the 15 top-paying certifications for 2015. Certifications in IT security, networking, and systems management are at the top of the certification pay scale. What may surprise you are the business-related certifications holding their own on this year's list.

ALC Open for Registration

Submitted by anna.palmer on

At the beginning of March, the ALC campus held an open house. ALC teachers, students, and staff were on hand to discuss and show the opportunities available to Nebo students. Hundreds of families came to see what ALC offers.

Many students and parents are meeting with our school counselor every week to discuss how they can be a part of the ALC experience during the 2015-2016 school year. If you would like to discuss the possibilities of ALC in your future, please contact us at 801-489-2833 or email us at info-alc [at] nebo.edu (info-alc[at]nebo[dot]edu). We look forward to it!

Submitted by alan.ashton on

Last week the ALC/MMHS Robotics team competed with 53 teams from 11 states and Canada at the "FIRST" Robotics regional in West Valley City. Last Saturday, March 14, 2015, the "Eaglebots" soared into second place! They and the other two teams on their alliance came close to qualifying for nationals! Many MMHS students worked really hard to make their robot successful! Thanks to all those who supported them!
