We are thrilled to share some exciting news from our Advanced Learning Center community. Our esteemed aviation teacher, Tammy Olsen, has been honored with a prestigious recognition by the Utah aviation community. The Utah Aeronautics Conference Steering Committee has selected her as the recipient of the Aviation Professional of the Year Award.

Tammy’s dedication to aviation education and her commitment to excellence have not gone unnoticed. Her contributions have significantly enhanced the learning experience for our students, making aviation more accessible and engaging.

We would like to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude and appreciation for our wonderful Principal, Jo Lynn Ford , and our Dean of Students, Alyssa Larsen.

It gives us great pleasure to announce that Blake Nielsen has been named the Utah CTE Teacher of the Month for May. This prestigious recognition is a testament to his unwavering dedication, innovative teaching methods, and tireless commitment to our students' success.

Blake has been instrumental in introducing advanced manufacturing techniques and CNC to the Nebo School District, Mountainland Region, and state CTE programs. He has always been at the forefront of integrating ever-changing technology into our CTE curriculum, ensuring our students are well-equipped for their future careers.
