With registration for the upcoming school year of 2024-2025 right around the corner, we have our Open House coming up on February 6th & 7th starting at 3 p.m. and continuing until 6 p.m.
If you haven't had a chance to visit the ALC or hear about the CTE and CE courses we provide to Nebo School District high school students, swing by and check us out.
We had an exciting opportunity this week, courtesy of the University of Utah. The University was gracious enough to visit our students and introduce them to the world of Engineering through their program, Discover Engineering.
Discover Engineering is an innovative, hands-on approach to learning, enabling students to explore how different types of engineering can be applied to improve the quality of their daily lives. Over the course of two days, our students learned about various disciplines within engineering including chemical, civil, computer, construction, electrical games, materials science, and mechanical engineering.
The ALC will host a Career night on January 22nd, from 6 p.m.- 7 p.m..
It will be held in the Commons area.
The departments focus for this Career night will be Mechatronics, Automation, Electrical Tech, & Business.
Please come ready to learn more about these courses and come with any questions .

Monday January 15th, is Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday.
Martin Luther King Jr. Day is the only federal holiday that has been designated a national day of service.
King was an influential activist who fought for equal rights with peaceful protest—and created a legacy that continues to inspire new generation. One of his famous quote is " The time is always right to do what is right."
Classes will resume on Tuesday, January 16th, and it will be an "A" day schedule.
We are thrilled to announce that our very own Ms. CiCi Keetch has been honored as the ALC Teacher of the Year! This accolade is a testament to her dedication, hard work, and passion for teaching and her students.
CiCi Keetch is an integral part of the ALC family. Known for her inventive teaching methods, she consistently finds new and engaging ways to ensure her students grasp the concepts they need to excel acadically.
