ALC TEACHER RECEIVES GRANT FROM YE

Submitted by shelley.heaton on
Amy Ewell from the Advanced Learning Center in Nebo School District was chosen from a select group of Utah educators to receive full funding to launch the Youth Entrepreneurs program in her classroom for Fall 2020.
YE is a fun, hands-on activity-based class that teaches the entrepreneurial spirit and business principles for a life of contribution to others. Youth Entrepreneurs' educational model empowers teachers to innovate in their classroom and prepares students for success in the workplace and in life.

YE provides educators with hands-on training and dedicated staff support, while students are offered a myriad of mentorship and learning opportunities both inside and outside the classroom.

Funding includes the entire cost of curriculum, thousands of dollars for her classroom, microloans for her student’s market day businesses, an all-expense-paid trip to the Youth Entrepreneur’s Ignite The Spark educator summit in Dallas, and more. Congratulations Mrs. Ewell! We are so excited for you and your students.
