Teaching as a Profession Classes
The Teaching as a Profession classes have had an incredibly busy and productive month! Here are some of the exciting activities and preparations they've been involved in:
Competition Preparation: Students have been diligently preparing their lessons and refining their top teaching strategies in anticipation of the upcoming Nebo School District and State competition. This is a fantastic opportunity for them to showcase their skills and creativity in teaching.
Creative Teaching Techniques: Our students have been learning innovative ways to integrate holiday themes into their lessons. A standout example is their "Turkey Math Solving Lesson," which creatively combines math skills with holiday crafts. This approach not only enhances their teaching repertoire but also makes learning more engaging for their students.
Hands-On Learning Projects: Under the guidance of Mr. Albright, students are regularly engaged in hands-on learning projects. These projects are designed to provide practical teaching experience, allowing students to apply theoretical knowledge in real-world scenarios.
Internship Experiences: The second block of the program has been particularly enriching, with students participating in internships at various schools. These internships offer invaluable teaching experience, helping students to further develop their skills and understanding of the teaching profession.
