Anatomy and Physiology Dissection Day

We are thrilled to share that our Anatomy and Physiology students had an incredible hands-on learning experience today! Under the expert guidance of Brian Blake, the students had the opportunity to dissect pig heads. This activity brought to life the many concepts they have been studying in class.

During the dissection, students were able to explore:

  • Muscles: Observing the structure and function.

  • Eyeballs: Understanding the anatomy and how vision is processed.

  • Bones: Examining the skeletal system.

  • Brains: Gaining insights into the complexities of the nervous system.

This experience allowed students to deepen their understanding of anatomical structures and processes, making their learning both engaging and memorable. We are proud of their curiosity and enthusiasm in exploring the wonders of human anatomy through this unique activity.

Thank you to Brian Blake and our teacher, Mrs. Suzette Hartvigsen, studentsstudentsstudentsBrian BLakestudents for making this educational experience possible!
