We are thrilled to share what has been happening in our Criminal Investigations class! Recently, students have been diving deep into the world of forensic and physical evidence. As part of their learning journey, they engaged in a hands-on experience by working with a simulated crime scene.
During this exercise, the students were tasked with locating, developing, and lifting latent fingerprints from various items found at the scene. This practical experience is invaluable as it allows students to understand the critical role fingerprint evidence plays in criminal investigations. Such evidence can be pivotal in linking a suspect to a crime scene or excluding individuals from wrongful charges. Our students have shown remarkable enthusiasm and skill in applying these forensic techniques!
We are proud of their progress and encourage them to continue their exploration into the fascinating world of criminal investigations.
