The Electrical Residential program is where you begin your journey to obtain your Residential Journeyman license. After completing the Electrical Residential program you could also enroll in the Electrical Apprenticeship program to complete your education and obtain licensing.  

As a student of this program, you will:

  • Learn about a variety of wiring systems 

  • Understand the basics of electrical concepts, including voltage, current, resistance, and power

  • Study how to design and analyze electrical circuits for residential applications

  • Learn essential safety protocols and practices for working with electrical systems

  • Acquire hands-on skills in installing and troubleshooting wiring systems, outlets, switches, and fixtures

  • Accredited Dixie Technical College Certificate

  • Residential Journeyman Electrician License

You’ll master dwelling load calculations, the art of mathematics for pipe bending, unravel the complexities of AC circuit theory, and illuminate your understanding of all things electrical.
