ALC's Version of Shark Tank

Last week was an exhilarating time for our product design students who participated in the Advanced Learning Center's own version of Shark Tank! This engaging project was organized by Ms. Park for her students and showcased a culmination of their hard work in mastering the design thinking process. This critical skill involves empathizing, defining, ideating, prototyping, and testing.

Our students were challenged to identify everyday problems and develop innovative solutions. Here's a glimpse of their creative process and projects:

ALC Visits Spanish Fork Jr. High

Submitted by shelley.heaton on

Today, we had the wonderful opportunity to visit Spanish Fork Jr. High. We were invited to present to the 9th-grade students about the myriad of fun and exciting opportunities that the Advanced Learning Center (ALC) offers. Our goal was to share how these opportunities can significantly enhance their high school learning experience.

The students were incredibly respectful and engaged during our visit. It was a joy to interact with them and witness their enthusiasm for future learning possibilities. We are excited about the potential collaborations and the bright future that awaits these students at ALC.

"Thank You", Spanish Fork Jr. High for giving us the opportunity to come and get to know your students better.
